Sunday, March 17th – afternoon

To say the afternoon on this day was magical would be an understatement. From the moment we pulled into Charlotte’s Bay we knew we wouldn’t want to leave. The weather was perfect, the water calm and the scenery & wildlife, well I’m running out of words to describe it all. So, what better way to describe it then to show you. Much easier.

Charlotte’s Bay

We spent 4 1/2 hours out on the Zodiac which is unheard of. None of us wanted to be the first ones to return to the ship. It was Whale-a-palooza to the point that we started talking about how many more whale shots did we actually need. Can you have too many?

As the sun started setting, the light was gorgeous and we milked our ride back to the ship for all we could.

Seriously, Best. Day. Ever. I had one of these days on my Arctic trip also. It was meant to happen. This is such a small sample of images from this day (Morning) and I came away with additions to my Abstract Water series which is now a Polar Abstract Water series with Arctic and Antarctic images. Coming soon! (hopefully soon?)

So many images, so little time, right? One day left to post and I’ll wrap up this Antarctic Adventure series. I know I’ve dragged it out over four months and I apologize for that. Working on better workflow in my world.

Reminder

Only 4 spots left (and 2 people who are checking schedules so maybe only 2 spots!)
Just a quick note to remind you that if you’d like to join me for a 2 1/2 day photo tour around Chicago you can find the details here: See! Chicago.
