I have loved Dale Chihuly‘s work for many many years. I don’t remember the first piece I saw or where it may have even been a television program on him and his work. I do know that every chance I get when I’m traveling and know his artwork in the area, I go to see it.
This is the Sole d’Oro or Golden Sun piece that greets you as you arrive at the Biltmore Estate. There are 18 (if I remember right) installations of Chihuly’s work throughout the estate. It did not disappoint.
There will be more images to come from both Asheville and the Biltmore, and of course Chihuly glass.
